The disease is caused by tissue from the uterus growing mainly in the lower abdomen. This often leads to severe pain during period, strong menstruation and inhibited fertility.

The 14th World Congress on Endometriosis (WCE2021)
The 14th World Congress on Endometriosis was scheduled to be held in Shanghai – but the outbreak of COVID-19 means that the plans had to change – twice. However, none of the goals and aims have changed for WCE2021, and now there is an exciting scientific programme lined up for February – now enhanced with an endoscopy track.

EEL MASTERCLASS: ONLINE REGISTRATION STARTS END OF AUGUST FOR 2020
The EEL Masterclass will start in March 2020 in Bordeaux under the lead of Horace Roman. This will be followed by Bukarest (Elvira Bratila) in April 2020, Siena (Errico Zupi, Catarina Exacoustos, G.
