We are deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. David Redwine, a true pioneer in the field of endometriosis research and treatment. Dr. Redwine was a renowned endometriosis specialist who made integral contributions to the understanding and surgical treatment of endometriosis. He was also a vocal advocate for aggressive excision of endometriosis and abandonment of expensive medical treatment of symptoms. His theory of Mulleriosis put him squarely in the camp favoring a genetically-driven embryonic origin of endometriosis. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Dr. Redwine.
